Refunds & Cancellations
I want every family to feel good about what they buy from me. Here is how refunds, cancellations and rescheduling work. Questions? Email [email protected] and I'll answer within two business days.
Online courses
If a course isn't right for you, email me within 14 days of buying it and I'll refund you in full, as long as you've finished less than a third of the lessons. After 14 days, or once you've finished a third of the course, it's yours to keep and can't be refunded.
Free guides are free, so there's nothing to refund.
Virtual visits and classes
- Lactation visits ($95), follow-up visits ($75) and breastfeeding classes ($125) can be moved or cancelled for a full refund up to 24 hours before your start time.
- Less than 24 hours before, or a missed visit, isn't refunded. Babies are unpredictable, though: if something comes up with your baby or your health, tell me and I'll reschedule you once at no charge.
- If I need to cancel or I'm more than 15 minutes late, you choose: a new time or a full refund.
Packages
Visits you haven't used in a package can be refunded within 60 days of buying it. I'll take off the visits you've had at the single-visit price.
Birth doula support
- Your deposit holds your due date on my calendar, so I turn other families away for that month. The deposit isn't refundable.
- If you cancel before 32 weeks, anything you've paid beyond the deposit is refunded. From 32 weeks on, payments aren't refunded.
- If I can't be at your birth, I'll refund the birth part of your fee. If your birth is so fast that nobody could have made it, the prenatal and postpartum visits still happen and aren't refunded.
- If you lose your pregnancy, I'll refund everything except the deposit, and you're always welcome to talk with me.
- Your contract has the exact amounts and dates. If the contract and this page ever disagree, the contract wins.
How to ask for a refund
Email [email protected] with your name and what you bought. Approved refunds go back to the card you paid with, usually within 5 to 10 business days. Where the law gives you more rights than this page, the law applies.
