What we can work on

What happens in a visit

  1. Before

A short intake form: birth story, feeding so far, diapers and weight checks, your goals.

  2. During (60–75 minutes)

We talk, then I watch a feed on video. We try positions and latch changes while I coach you live.

  3. After

A written plan in your inbox the same day, and text check-ins for the next week.

Why virtual works for feeding

Looking for a virtual lactation consultant? I'm completing my Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC) certification: I help with the everyday feeding problems most families face, and I'll refer you to an IBCLC or your provider when something needs more.

You're in your own chair, with your own pillows, at a time your baby is actually hungry. That's where feeding happens, so that's where the plan needs to work. No car seat, no waiting room, no feeding in front of strangers.

Questions

What do I need for a virtual visit?
A phone or laptop you can prop up, your baby ready to feed (or close to it), and your pump and bottles if those are part of the question. A second person to hold the camera helps but isn't required.
Can you help before my baby is born?
Yes. A prenatal session covers latch, early hunger cues, the first 72 hours, and a plan for your situation. Prenatal prep.
Do you take insurance?
Ask about payment options on your free call. I work alongside your insurance-covered providers.
Where do you see clients?
Anywhere in the U.S. over video. If you're in Miami and need someone in the room, ask about a home visit on our free call.
When should I see a doctor instead?
Call your baby's doctor right away for fewer wet diapers than expected, signs of dehydration, jaundice that's getting worse, or a baby who is hard to wake. Call your own provider for fever, a hot or red area on the breast, or pain that keeps getting worse. I'll work alongside your providers.

Feeding shouldn't hurt this much, or feel this hard.

Let's look at it together.
